~~SEPTEMBER PROGRAM~~

Snow Geese at Bosque del Apache NWR (File Photo)

September 18 - “Cranes, Geese, and Rosy-Finches - Hot Winter Birding in New Mexico - Chris Petrak will take us to Bosque del Apache on the Rio Grande where 8,000 Sandhill Cranes, 40,000 Snow Geese and other waterfowl provide a visual extravaganza. Then we will travel a short distance to Sandia Crest to see all three species of Rosy-Finches. The program may tempt you to abandon Vermont snows for the winter birding and historical cultures of the southwest.

Gray-crowned Rosy Finch (File Photo)

Community Room of Brooks Library at 7 p.m.

Sponsored by Southeastern Vermont Audubon Society.

Program is FREE and open to the public.
